Project Objectives:

September beginning means one thing, football season is right around the corner! To get fans of the sport re-engaged NFLShop.com offers a large selection of products to help them dress in the apparel they want to support their favorite team. Featuring Alex Smith and Tom Brady to promote the first game of the 2017 season the A-spot shows off their Jerseys in an authentic manner aligned with the sport itself. We’ve also included a mix of players, lifestyle, and products in environments to give the football fan an assortment of the new gear that appears for sale as they click through the site. In support of the Hurricane Harvey relief effort, we included a link to our Houston Stong official T-Shirt with the Houston Texans logo above on the mobile page. NFLShop.com donated all profits from the sales of this item directly to charities organized to help those affected by the storm.

2017 NFL draft

Project Objectives:

Every year the NFL chooses a city to host its draft of the best collegiate athletes to join America’s professional football league. This year Philadelphia was chosen which opened up several creative opportunities because of its local proximity. Fanatics’ in-house photographer went out and shot a variety of shots of this year’s official draft cap around the Philadelphia Art Museum area as well as several detail shots of the draft caps were shot in the studio as well. The graphic pieces shown above are the result of combining NFLShop.com’s branding, the official 2017 NFL draft style guide and the assets provided by the photographer.

The true objective of this campaign was to connect football fans to the 2017 NFL draft experience. True fans of the sport want to be as close to the action on and off of the field. Two months removed from the New England Patriots winning their 5th Super Bowl there are 31 teams in the hunt for the same success. The draft represents each of those team’s futures and the first look at the players that will fill out their rosters next year or years to come. The gear that NFLShop.com sells is just one component of that experience and getting these pieces directly to the fan in a dramatic way to get the fan excited for the draft was the aim of this campaign.
